John and Gillian are the leaders of ARISE Church, one of New Zealand’s fastest growing churches. Now in Wellington & Christchurch, ARISE will become one church in three cities in February 2010, with the launch of Hamilton.

John & Gillian love people, are passionate about the Church, and committed to following Jesus daily wherever He may lead. Both are sought after speakers and travel extensively around the world inspiring the church everywhere to ARISE. John’s first book, Tales of a Conquering Generation, has helped many people discover the Promised Land God has for them.

They have been married for thirteen years and have two children, Lara (Princess Tallulabell Pixie) & Will (The Smack Down King). Family is precious to them, as are holidays in sunny beach locations!

 

Brent and Annie are responding to God's call to build a city-impacting church. They love church and they know God has called them to see incredible things in Christchurch; to watch lives turn around and destinies be unlocked.

They believe that ARISE Church in Christchurch will grow to become a church that transforms Christchurch with the truth and love of Jesus Christ.

Brent is also a popular speaker in churches, youth ministries and camps throughout New Zealand. He loves his sports, especially rugby and snowboarding; and also great coffee. Annie also preaches regularly in ARISE and churches all over NZ. She loves the arts, a great read, and skiing.

Brent and Annie have been married for twelve years and have three beautiful children, Keziah (11), Lucca (8) and Phoebe (4). The whole family loves the snow and enjoy spending time on the Southern Slopes.
