07.09.2010As a church we are committed to being the hands and feet – showing God’s love to everyone in need. This weekend our city was rocked by a significant earthquake and we know many have been affected by this incident. As a church we are pulling together a bunch of volunteers to help rebuild homes, take food to welfare centres and homes in need, and do whatever is required to see our city restored! Helen’s warm wit and wisdom is an inspiration to many. She is passionate about seeing people realize their full potential as a gift to the world! Along with her husband, John, she co-pastors Relate Church, a thriving family church with three worship centers in the Vancouver area. Helen travels globally, teaching on marriage, family and relationships... helping people to discover their destiny in God. She is a gift authour and host of the television programs Relate and VCC Live. John and Helen have celebrated 35 years of marriage. They have raised three daughters and Helen is a proud Oma to six beautiful grandchildren.

Taught by Ps Brent & Annie Cameron, it covers the core values and cultures we hold as a church, run over 4 weeks. It's a great time of impartation with praise & worship and prayer for the final session. The Watoto Choir travel the world, and are a blessing to all they encounter! Dressed in traditional African costumes, they lift the name of Jesus through a variety of musical styles ranging from African to contemporary gospel, and share challenging stories of lives changed from tragedy to triumph. Lock in this weekend because we have have Ps Paul Geerling from Metro Church in Brisbane coming to spend the weekend with us at Hanmer Springs!
